The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
The Ladywood Project is situated in a large social housing estate in an area of high unemployment and child poverty. The Project provides support and advice for families and individuals. The services on offer are guided by the local community and are often a response to the ever changing political and economic climate which impacts the everyday lives of ordinary people, especially those with little or no income.
The Project provides a drop-in service four days per week, leisure activities, trips, as well as play and stay groups. They offer advice and help on a wide range of issues: debt, housing, benefits, child related issues and domestic abuse. They also work closely with the local credit union to provide financial resources to residents.
As a partner of the Ladywood Project, BHSF are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the local community. This page has been created for BHSF staff to donate money towards the amazing work of The Ladywood Proejct. For example, the fuel allowance which is used to top up the meter cards of individuals and families so they can have electricity in their homes when they are facing financial crisis, and couldn't have otherwise afforded to turn their heating on for example.
