Mary Ann Catayong is a school teacher from the Philippines.

She has spent the last few years of her life both studying and working hard to fund her very own way through her education, here in the UK. Developing all of the knowledge and the skills necessary to enable her to provide a brand new generation of diligent & hard working young children back in her homeland with the very best education available to them today. So that they too can have the chance to develop the knowledge and the skills necessary to make their very own positive contribution to the society in which they live in. With the very real possibility of using all they will learn to help make a positive difference to others all over the world. Should they wish to do so.

However,

It has recently come to light that although the students have been blessed with the benefit of a new, updated standard of education. The same can not be said for their learning facility...

As you can see from the photograph above, their class room tables and chairs are in dire need of a similar update. As they have been almost all but worn out by a previous generation of keen learners.

And as we all know, a fresh, positive working environment promotes the best possible learning experience.

And we need your help in order to provide them with just that!

At just £8 a chair for a class of 30 students, we need to raise £240 in order to make the first half of this update possible.

And for the second half, we need to raise an additional £200 to buy the building materials required to make each of the new tables.

So in total we need £440 for the update to successfully take place.

And as an additional incentive,

Any donations received over the £440 mark will be put towards the future construction of a new internal toilet facility for the students. As their only current functioning toilet, (1 of 2) is located outdoors.
