£15raised of £500 target by 1 supporter

Weʼve raised £15 to help support our fundraising efforts for our 2019 Lourdes pilgrimage, working with the sick and disabled

Funded on Wednesday, 31st July 2019

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Each year students and staff from Bishop Walsh journey on the annual Birmingham diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes in France. Lourdes is a place where our young people put service before themselves and selflessly help others.

Whilst in Lourdes students work alongside elderly and disabled pilgrims. They may take them to services, help them to pack, help with meals or simply be a listening ear. Many of the pilgrims may live alone or in residential care and their annual pilgrimage to Lourdes is always a highlight

Lourdes is also a great opportunity for our young people to encounter God and deepen their faith alongside hundreds of other young people from across diocese.

Our students make a REAL difference to the lives of others in our community and they never forget their experiences in Lourdes. Alongside their numerous fundraising activities I thank you for being generous in supporting our cause
