Story
A child's life is one of the most precious things on earth! When you think you're on track taking 2 steps forward, then you receive a blow and you end up taking 4 steps back. Outraged to be told because of the country's economic situation we are looking at paying in full for 3 year old Blaize's Combined Surgery and Brachytherapy plus all the medical treatments over in Paris for his certain type of rare cancer Rhabdomyosarcoma or that we might just need to raise 10% of the funds upfront before the hospital will fund the remaining fee to send Blaize over to Paris.
Blaize needs this treatment January 2018, but the funds need to be raised asap. Please help!
It was then in September 2017 Blaize was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer Rhabdomyosarcoma; fewer than 60 children are diagnosed with this type of cancer every year in the UK. Blaize has now to go through chemotherapy every week and another type of chemotherapy every 3 weeks, throughout 3 days which is accompanied by all the side effects, illnesses, trials and tribulations along the way. On top of all that he also needs combined surgery and Brachytherapy treatment (radiotherapy) plus all his medical treatments in Paris!

7 years agoWOW Blaize's Bonfire Fun Day was a major success. It was a great turnout, there was so much preparation that went into organising the day and lots of incredible people donating to......Blaize's Battle. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts to each and everyone of you who helped, donated and came along! Blaize is an incredible brave little boy, an inspiration to us all. xxxx

7 years agoBlaize is not too good at the moment; he is in Alder Hey Hospital trying to fight off a fever due to having an infection. Also he has to have a blood transfusion today due to his red blood cells being low and he isn’t eating which is making him extremely weak. 7 years agoDonations for Blaize's battle have been amazing. Some of the local school's have been holding cake stalls plus non uniform days, how amazing is that! Blaize's own brother Cruz has help raise funds in school by holding a cake selling day to help support his little brother. Blaize is having a Bonfire fundraising fun day Sunday 5th November.
