On xmas eve we noticed Blaze had a red eye, so we washed it, over the coming days it got more and more blood shot and swollen.

We rang out of hours vets but due the cost we couldn't afford, we managed to get some eye drops to help and with regular clean we hoped this would help.

Yesterday we took him to the vets as more concern grew over his eye as it started to scab over.

On inspection at the vets we got told we would have to choose on 3x options 1, to have his eye repaired at massive cost of 3k, 2, have is eye removed at £750 but will have lasting affects or 3, put him to sleep.

We came to terms that we were going to say goodbye to our Blaze aged only 6 years old. Seeing soo him self today we decided to ask for a second opinion and we were told that having his eye removed will have short term affects and will make full recovery.

So we decided to go down that route with family paying as much as they can, i wouldnt normally ask friends etc but we would be grateful of any help towards the cost.
