28th January to 4th February is National Storytelling Week. As an Usborne Independent Team Leader, I would like to combine encouraging children to have a love of books with doing something for charity.

My two daughters, along with a group of their friends, will be doing a sponsored read during the course of the week.

All money raised will buy brand new Usborne books for the Spring Centre in Quedgeley. This will allow the children that use this facility to also be able to enjoy books. Usborne have a lovely variety that include sensory and noisy books, which suit children of all abilities.

The Spring Centre provides much needed services and support to families with children with disabilities and special needs throughout Gloucestershire. It supports families with children from birth to sixteen and provides pre school sessions, after school clubs, holiday trips and activities and coffee mornings. It is parent led - providing what the parents want.

Please support our cause and help us to reach our target. If we can raise £600, then Usborne will add a massive 60% in free books, on top of the amount already raised. This will enable us to donate a wide variety of books to suit all abilities and ages.
