Hi my name is Bluebell Bright l am 9 years old and I want to do something to help homeless people.

I went into Barnstaple and I saw a homeless man on the street and I felt really sad because he just has a coat and one blanket and it’s really cold outside. My mummy let me have £5 to give to the man. Even though it is so little it meant so much to him. He was very grateful and I wanted to give him more but that was all we had.

I have decided to do something to be able to give him and other homeless people more for this winter.

I am going to sleep on the street on the 25th of January with my daddy to try to understand how hard life is for homeless people. I would like people to donate as much as they can for me to do this, so I can use the money raised to buy clothes, sleeping bags and food.

I need as many people to help as possible.
