My name is Bluebell I am 10 years old and I have very long hair, I have decided to cut my hair short and donate my hair to a charity that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair because of illnesses...the Little Princess Trust.
I have 2 reasons for deciding to do this and asking you to sponsor me, last year my very brave cousin Caroline lost her battle with cancer, she went through a lot including losing her hair, however she always stayed positive and was a very happy person. I will be donating half of the money raised to a reading project in Caroline’s memory.
The second reason is this year a friend was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, she is 15 years old and lost her hair due to the chemo, we are very happy that she has just been told the cancer has gone and she will hopefully make a full recovery, and best of all her hair is now growing back. Evie is raising money to buy something for the children that are getting treatment on Kamran’s Ward at the JR Children’s Hospital.
