Just a few days ago, I came across the opportunity to fight in King Of The Ring (FB event below). Excitement overcame rationality and before I knew it, I had committed myself to fight in 8 weeks time. Then reality started setting in...hard.

I've never stepped in a ring before, let alone boxed! And now I'm going to get my butt handed to me. Great. But I thought if I was going to get whooped in front of hundreds of spectators, I might as well do it for charity to blunt the blows and save some face.

The refugee crisis has always been a matter that is close to my heart and having heard my brother's stories of his time volunteering in Greece, choosing to raise money for Lighthouse Relief was a no-brainer (link below).

Lighthouse Relief do amazing work for refugees that have arrived on the Greek mainland. They provide emergency support, child protection services, camp management services, and much more. As conditions in Greek refugee camps are now more desperate than ever, there has never been a more important time to donate.
