I'm back from cycling 140 miles with 250 others on The Big Ride. The first day I cycled 55 miles, from Swansea to Cardiff. Next day, in Wattsvile, we cycled through a guard of honour of young footballers. In Newport, we were welcomed by excellent speakers incl. Maxine Peake. On Saturday, my feet stayed dry thanks to overshoes, but everything else was soaked, so much that steam from our clothes set off the fire-alarm. Final day, cycling round Bristol we chanted ‘Free Free Palestine‘ finishing at College Green, to hear inspiring speakers.

Only one week to go before the start of ‘The Big Ride’: this year nearer home. Judith writes "I'm joining 200+ others to cycle from Swansea to Bristol. For my training, I’m getting up early each day to tackle the hills around Bradford on Avon. Still on my pedal bike at 80, I’m getting fitter, ready to start on 3rd August. Please help me raise much needed funds for childrens’ charities in Gaza and to help fund the 7 Tubas friends visiting in October… very many thanks Judith"

Judith is on her bike again taking part in the climate change relay ‘Running out of Time’, cycling with buddy Michael & 2 others to Avebury with the baton after it came to BoA on its way to Big Ben on 11th July. Part of her training for The Big Ride for Gaza when 250 riders will cycle 200 miles, Swansea to Bristol 3-6th August. Now she's 80 she won't be doing heroic rides like last year when so many people wonderfully supported her ride to Manchester to fundraise for the Tubas Language Labs, fully operational in girls and boys' schools Tubas.
