It will soon be the olive tree planting season in Palestine. Several of us have been to Palestine to help with the harvest or plant trees, a way to show solidarity with farmers whose olive trees are often destroyed by settlers. So for a few months, we will be fundraising for saplings. These cost £4-£5.00 for each sapling including transport. We are producing greeting and Christmas cards which cost £5.00 each or 5 for £20.00 with the wording "This is a token of our gift of one Olive Tree for farmers in Tubas, Palestine".

The £1000.00 has been sent to Tubas to support education. In the meantime we have heard that the Israeli forces have destroyed a school in the Jordan Valley http://english.pnn.ps/2021/01/03/the-ghost-of-demolition-continues-to-haunt-the-students-of-al-maleh/amp/ We are raising this with our MP and the Foreign Office. In the meantime, we are also looking to fund tree-planting in the Tubas Governate. We will update this page when we have more information.

Together with the donations made via Eventbrite, donations paid directly to the BoA FoP Bank Account and the money collected during the walk, we have reached our target and raised over £1000.00. Thank you to everyone. The money has now been sent to schools in Tubas via our main contact - Jalal, a headmaster at a Tubas school.
