People have kindly suggested I start this page to help with the costs of saving little Rupert.

RUPERT is a tiny little Pomchi and only 14 weeks old. However, he thought he was a Pitbull last week and decided to challenge another much larger dog over the possession of a toy. They both leapt for the same toy and clashed heads. This wasn't an aggressive accident it was purely an accident. Rupert being so small came off worse and was bleeding and screeching so we rushed him overnight to an emergency vet. We initially thought he had a cut in his mouth or had bitten through his tongue, but unfortunately not. Rupert's jaw had broken at the back of his mouth and the fracture was going into his throat. They had to transfer him to a small animal specialist unit in Surrey.

They have been marvellous and saved Rupert but it comes at a cost approaching £5,000 plus ongoing treatment. Unfortunately his insurance policy is too new to claim on.
