Benidorm or Bust is a 1400 mile charity driving challenge from wherever you live in the UK to Benidorm in Spain. Any car can be used but a cheap banger is the favoured weapon of choice. Leaving Dover on the 13th of June, the aim is to arrive in Benidorm on Saturday the 16th of June, by way of Tours and Biarritz in France and Madrid in Spain. Once in Benidorm, the cars will be judged and prizes given. There are also driving challenges along the way. Finally, the cars, should the teams wish, will be scrapped and money recovered added to the charity pot.

We are 3 lads that work in a factory in Stoke Bardolph, 2 of us local and one from near Chesterfield. Our chosen charities are the Notts/ Lincs air ambulance and Ashgate Cancer Hospice in Chesterfield.

Our car was purchased for £250 and is a Saab 95 2003. We will be decorating it in the style of a Las Vegas police car (think of the film The Hangover!).

It currently has 250,000 miles on the clock and we see no reason not to add 1400 more, fingers crossed.

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible and split it between the 2 charities
