In January we celebrate our 30th anniversary, yes its 30 years in providing juniour sport for young people. We are asking for financial contributions which would enable the club to celebrate along with all our junior players and thier parents,guardians and carers to say thank you for supporting Bolton Woods Football Club over the last 30 years

Bolton Woods Junior Football Club was founded in 1988 as a response to concerns expressed by the local Community regarding disenfranchised youth and increasing levels of juvenile crime and anti-social behaviour. Initially, the project started working with 13 young people, which over the past thirty years has expanded to over 250.

The club provides a range of practice sessions, training and competitive and non-competitive football opportunities for local young people aged 2 years - 18 years during term-time and school holiday periods.

The work carried out at the Football Club is entirely voluntary, with a team of dedicated volunteers contributing to its management and development. One of the fundamental benefits of the volunteering and “hands-on” approach to working with young people is the excellent relationship, trust and respect which now exist. All of this has created a conducive environment for developing social education and positive attitudes and values with the young people.
