Story
You never know when you are going need emergency medical attention or need to call 999!
In our rural area it could take several hours for an ambulance to attend a call.
Your team of Community First Responders (CFR) are volunteers, on call 24/7, giving up their time to train, promote and respond.
Trained and working alongside The North West Ambulance Service, to provide a first response while waiting for an ambulance, we are activated by NWAS to attend certain medical emergencies.
We carry basic LIFE SAVING EQUIPMENT including a Defibrillator, Oxygen and first aid kit.
We need your help to continue to equip the team and replace equipment as necessary, to sustain the team for the future.
We all work and live in the Parish, and will respond as directed by NWAS.
A Basic Life Support (BLS) Kit costs £2000
Any and all donations greatly appreciated to support YOUR team and YOUR community
