Story
Carol Little, passed away on 7th January 2017 after being in a coma for 4 weeks with Pneumonia, she passed away with multiple organ failure in the Intensive Care Unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary. Carol was our mum, grandma and friend to many. Our mum was a wonderfully generous person who reached out to anyone in their hour of need always helping anyone whether a word to the wise to a comforting cuddle and dedication and direction, truly one of life's diamonds.
While our mum was in intensive care, the dignity and 24 hour care given by everyone in the unit was second to none, truly magnificent with a very personal touch, they were amazing people doing an amazing and tremendously tough job with care and compassion all along the way. The crowdfunding page is to help support the department towards buying new equipment so that other people can benefit in the future or their relatives can feel comfortable in what can only be described as the hardest of times.
We spent every day and Christmas on the ICU department during our mothers stay we met some wonderful people in similar circumstances and some with tragic outcomes just like ours. Please help us help to raise some money to support the department and the families whilst in the department during the most difficult of difficult times.
Our mother was a helper a true angel of the north, we would like to do something positive to help others too. Please if you could spare something no matter what it will go a long way to helping make a difference.
Thank you
Carl and Joanne Goodchild
