BobBob is an awesome guy :)

At the age of only 48, BobBob's sight is extremely minimal due to severe corneal damage in both eyes - his vision in his left eye is at 2% and in his right eye 10%. Yet he doesn't let this impact on his determination and diligence to carry out his duties as Maintenance & Groundsman at Campfire Academy, a registered educational Non Profit Organisation in Limpopo, South Africa.

The only hope for BobBob is a corneal transplant, without which he will be completley blind within the next 16 months.

I am asking for your help to give this awesome dude the amazing gift of returning his sight, at least in one eye.

Corneal grafts in South Africa cost approximately 4,500 GBP per eye and the nearest hospital to perform this is a +/- 250km round trip, hence I am hoping to raise 4,700 GBP to cover the cost of the procedure, plus 120 GBP for the daily post-op eye drops and 80 GBP to cover petrol costs .

***Crowd funding for BobBob was first launched last year and just over 50% of the target was reached. This second drive is for the remaining 2,088.00 GBP needed for BobBob to undergo surgery.
