Camps International visited my school to ask for support to help to improve the lives of disadvantaged communities. I immediately signed on, knowing I had to help. Little did I realise how difficult it was going to be to raise the £4100 whilst still having to focus on my first year of A-levels. In August 2017, I am leaving for Peru for four weeks, to go and help to build a nursery and a greenhouse so families can grow their own vegetables. Most of the money will go towards buying the supplies to build the nursery and greenhouse. I so far engaged in the following to raise money: working in my school gym, packing bags at Supermarkets over weekends, arranged a school disco and a few cake sales. I truly hope you will support me – every £5 will help!
