Hurricane Irma has devastated many lives and one is very personal to me. He is my brother Stephen who I hope won't mind me telling you he is 63. His home was his boat, not too fancy, probably too small for us land lubbers. For the past ten years he has spent every last penny he earned making his boat / home as comfortable as possible. He could not afford Insurance as they wanted $4000.00 per year, way above what he was able to afford. Easy to say in hindsight he was stupid but could you afford that amount on home insurance each year? Hurricane Irma took everything from him even his work van so he is not able to do his job, his boat is lost with no chance of recovering anything so he only has the clothes on his back and his fighting spirit. Any small amount would be very much appreciated. I would like to thank everybody in advance whi will give what they can. All the funds raised will go to Stephen so he can again stand on his own two feet. With a little help from all us.
