£70raised of £100 target by 5 supporters

Weʼre raising £100 to Fund social prescribing in Bridgwater community. Social prescribing involves helping people to improve health, wellbeing and social welfare.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Our social prescribing involves helping patients within our community to improve health, wellbeing and social welfare by connecting them to community services. For example we offer a gardening group, singing group, walking and pilates classes for all levels. Everyone is welcoming to all of our groups. We need your help to raise money to buy resources and equipment for our groups. The gardening group is ran by volunteers and desperately need funding to buy compost, seeds, plants and tools. The singing group needs help to buy sheet music for the wonderful volunteer John to continue playing the piano for the group to sing to dementia residents at a local care home.
