    Story

    Bringing 'Christmas to the Classroom'

    Yayyyy we did it!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported our initiative, this has been truly overwhelming! Peoples kindness, generosity and messages of support have been amazing!

We have now confirmed the December line up for our children to enjoy the fun festivities of Christmas.

We are keeping the page open until the end of half term for anyone else who would like to support. Any surplus will go to future initiatives that benefit the children.

    Story:

Gather your fellow elves and get ready to spread some sparkle, because 'it's all about the children' at Arley and our festive fundraising ideas have gone virtual!

As the festive season draws closer, we are all too aware at how this year's celebrations may differ from normal. How the effects of Covid have impacted upon us all, including our children; their mental health and well-being as well as the restrictions they face on a day-to-day basis.

However, our vision at Arley remains at the forefront of our minds 'New Beginnings Endless Possibilities' and we truly believe in our vision and have our children at the heart of everything we do.

Christmas is truly a special time of year and in school, children thrive from the fun festivities with a buzz and excitement.

Sadly, we can't have our usual Christmas Fair or Santa's Grotto due to social distancing and children having to remain inside their 'bubbles' but that doesn't mean we can't make it magical!

Our Friends of Arley team want to make it a December to remember by bringing 'Christmas to the Classroom'!

We'd like to surprise our children by raising funds, which will enable us to Zoooommm Santa into each class as a virtual treat, as well as hosting a Class Christmas Party inside their bubbles for each year group, to include party food, Christmas quizzes and carol-oke!

They'll have a cracking time - we know how to throw a party!

To do this we need your support...

So with Christmas fast approaching, Please help us raise funds for what we're hosting. This will be more than just mere fun, Miracles do happen, When we all work as one!

Your generosity is valued, no matter how big or small and will light up the faces of each child as Santa Zooms into the Classroom, after all...

'It's the most... wonderful time of the year!' 🎶

Wow... Amazing, Generous, Humble, Kind, Caring, 'Best Arley Christmas ever' are just some of the words that come to mind. The messages of support have just been so wonderful and spurred us on to make this even more magical for our children! We've written to Mr Gavin Williamson - the Education Secretary, to ask him to support us and make our 'Bringing Christmas to the Classroom' at National Initiative - this would definitely put Arley on the map! Thank you all so much!

Wow - what an incredible response already! Thank you all so much for your big hearts, kindness and generosity to support our appeal! We hope to make this a national initiative as every school in the country will be in the same position as us. If we can make a difference and be part of a legacy for all children how fabulous would that be.... ❤️
