On behalf of the British Bangla Welfare Trust we are raising money to build a house for a vulnerable woman in Sundarban, Bangladesh.

Minu Akhter suffers from mutism and is battling cancer. Earlier this September our volunteers visited her home for a consultation of her needs. A second visit was then setup whereby we donated money to pay for her chemotherapy bills. We also gifted her with two chickens so that she can use the eggs to make basic meals to feed her family.

Now we are raising funds in order to build her a proper house. Sundarbans gets particularly cold in the winter and your donations would help to build a house to keep Minu and her family warm. For just £2000 we can build a family home with walls and a stable roof.
