Story
I have put myself forward to take on the challenge of abseiling down the tallest folly in the world, our very own Wainhouse Tower (standing at 275 feet/85m high)!
Before any of you ask why...nope, its not 'just for fun' - by doing this I have committed to raise atleast £500 for The Mayors Charity Appeal, which supports 3 very worthy local charities:
Together for Looked-after Children (TLC) http://www.tlccharity.co.uk/
The Brighouse Rest Centre
Forget Me Not Children's Hospice http://www.forgetmenotchild.co.uk/
The abseil is going to take place on Saturday 29th April 2017 (weather permitting with back-up dates of Sunday 30th April and Saturday 6th May).
Please help me by donating as little or as much as you like, to try and reach a target of £500 in support of these THREE charities!
