Weʼre raising £10,000 to Establish a Hindu Mandir & community centre for Indians in Bromley and Kent area to preserve and promote our culture and faith
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Our aim is to bring the Indian community in Bromley and wider Kent area together to preserve and promote our culture and faith and support hard-to-reach groups such as children/elderly, with the help of dedicated volunteers with community service ethos.
There is no Hindu Mandir in Bromley and adjoining areas such as West Wickham, Locksbottom, Petts-wood, Orpington, Sidcup and Mottingham etc, despite the fact that there are more than 5000 hindus in the locality but still there is nowhere in Bromley where hindus can visit for their spiritual needs.
Therefore to establish a Hindu Mandir and Cultural Centre, keeping faith, culture and traditional values at the heart, BTCA started an initiative in 2012 with a few families and sincere heartfelt thanks for immense support from so many of you, this has now evolved into a registered charity called Bromley Temple Trust
