My brother Pete, sister Kristen and I have decided to run a 5k in beautiful Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, on the 28th of July. We will be raising money for Refuweegee, a fantastic charity based in Glasgow who aim to ensure that every Refuweegee (that's a Glasgow refugee for any of you who hadn't put that together yet) who arrives to live in the city feels a warm welcome.

They aim to gift every new arrival a community built welcome pack, containing three categories of items; essentials, Glasgow welcome and ‘letters from the locals’ and as a result of the final category, each pack will be completely individual. We chose to fundraise for Refuweegee as we think they do awesome work, and they make us proud to be Scots! Please support them by sponsoring the three of us to complete this feat - 5k is a big deal for us! Your reward? Knowing your money is going directly to making refugees feel welcomed, supported and at home in this friendly city. And you'll get a good laugh out of the tomato-face finish line photos too...!
