The reason for my hike to Everest Base Camp...

I am looking for support and sponsorship to help Buckley Methodist Church open its doors once again. The church is a life line to many elderly in the local area and has helped many through difficult times. It is currently in disrepair and desperately in need of a new boiler. With out our help the future of the church is looking very bleak. I have seen first hand the vital part this little church plays in the immediate community. When I lost my Grandfather the church opened its arms to my Grandmother and gave her a reason to carry on. For this I will be forever grateful. The daily activities that once took place within the church have mainly stopped completely as it is too cold for the local residents to sit in.

In order to raise money I will be making the journey to Nepal and hiking to Mount Everest Base Camp. The hike its self will take 12 days and raise to a height of 17600ft. I will be paying for the flight and hike myself, all of the money raised will go directly to Buckley Methodist Church fund. I will start my journey from UK in March 2018.

Any amount that you can spare will be greatly appreciated and is going to a very good cause. Thank you for your help.
