Weʼve raised £780 to Make Daisy's dream come true, and build her an Art Studio

Funded on Monday, 10th September 2018

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

Daisy suffers from many complex illnesses and medical problems that limit the things in life that she is able to enjoy, largely due to the constant pain she is in. More details can be found on her website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk or on social media. However, she absolutely loves to paint....

We know how much everyone loves Daisy's artistic creations, and she loves to read all your lovely comments when we post pictures of them on social media. (see pics attached) Painting takes her off into her own little world where she can just be free from all her endless daily struggles. Recently Daisy has spoken of her dream of having her own little art studio where she can have all her equipment in one place and immerse herself comfortably into her creations.

We would really love to make this dream come true for her by building her this studio in our back garden. So if we set up a special 'Help build Daisy her own Art Studio' fundraising page, we wondered if all the kind people that follow her on various social media would be extra kind enough to donate to this project?

We envisage costs to be about £5,000. We have about 2000 followers across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, so if everyone just gave as little as £2 we would be almost there!!!

We appreciate many of you are always generous already, and the usual fundraising we do simply just goes towards keeping Daisy medically well and comfortable in her own home. But this is something different that will bring her so much joy and happiness, and you will all get to see even more of her wonderful paintings 🙂

If anyone has any advice, suggestions etc that they would like to chip in with this project, we would also love to hear from you. Be it fundraising suggestions, or just general advice. We will take on board any help that is made available!

    Love to all ❤️X

Please take a minute and enjoy Daisy’s paintings below, all painted since she was 12yrs old. Daisy is now 14yrs old....

    😊❤️x

      What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

      Great people make things happen

Do you know anyone in need or maybe want to help a local community cause?

Create you own page and donʼt let that cause go unfunded!
