    Story

Adapting to the 'New Norm' (May 2021)

Due to Covid regulations we've had to pivot and deliver single sleeping quarters for our guests.

So your donations will contribute towards the lease of 8 self contained modules including beds, toilet and shower facilities for the guests onboard our programme.

Each of our guests will be empowered with the keys to their own front door and private residence, giving them a true sense of pride and belonging to kickstart their journey back into the community.

Our professional staff and volunteers will deliver a 24/7 transformational programme utilising the existing site empowering each guest to:-

    * Overcome issues and substance misuse that have let up to their homelessness

    * Overhaul their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health

    * Build upon their skills and passions to increase their self worth

    * Help them with additional training to secure further qualifications

    * Connect them with caring and compassionate companies to provide secure employment

    * Help them 'move-on' and into their own paid for private rented accommodation, then

    * Mentor their on-going success and support where required in the future.

    Buses4Homeless Impact Report 2020

2020 was an incredibly challenging year for all, none more so than our B4H project. We can hold our heads high and say we delivered impeccable results and support for our boys on camp.

Here's an overview of our social impact last year.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

Buses4Homeless Community Outreach Bus (Aug 2020)

Please help us provide essential provisions of food, PPE, toiletries, clothing, advice, help, support and love to those less fortunate. With the pandemic taking full effect, and the numbers of homeless people swelling on our streets, now is the time to take action and give to where it matters.

Thank you so much, it's so nice to know people still care!

Please contact help@buses4homeless.org to find out more info and / or to get involved.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    The Buses4Homeless Project (Jan 2020)

Since the journey began back at the end of 2018, Buses4Homeless has successfully raised thousands of pounds towards building a ‘community’ of four converted decommissioned double decker buses and securing a viable, functioning site in North West London for the launch of its unique programme designed to help transform the lives of some of the UK’s growing homeless population.

    • Bus4Shelter: providing 8 warm, dry and self-contained sleeping pods

    • Bus4Dining: teaching them how to cook nutritional meals for each other

    • Bus4Wellness: taking care of their physical, emotional and mental health

    • Bus4Learning: offering soft & vocational skills to re-engage them into employment , apprenticeships or small businesses

    Funding the Programme

Today, we are ready to welcome our guests on board so are now looking to raise £30,000 to help fund a comprehensive, holistic 3-month rehabilitation programme specifically designed for each of them with the objective of successfully re-engaging and reintegrating them back into society.

What will funds be used for?

With regular weekly access to professional support, counselling, wellbeing therapists and vocational training as well as daily provision of food, security and sanitation, we estimate it will cost just £30 to help transform a day in the life of one of our guests.

Our aim is to offer them a unique programme that will ultimately get them back into some form of housing within 3 months / 100 days.

This results in a cost of around £3,000 per guest from the moment they arrive on board to the moment we proudly see them reintegrate into the community - a small price to pay for restoring someone’s future.

Please give generously so we can help those in need.

Thank you in advance for helping us make a difference. It is hugely appreciated.
