Blacon Youth are a large community based football club with teams ranging from under 4s upto senior level.

The club is fully self funded through various fundraising activities, parental involvement, volunteering and sheer hard work.

The club do more than just football - they support local initiatives, raise funds, donate Easter eggs, Christmas presents and help those in need all year round.

Unfortunately, we appear to be the victim of yet another act of vandalism. Our club mini bus has been smashed to pieces and rendered useless.

The bus, used by teams within the club and external support groups, was donated to us by Highfield Primary School. It has become a very important part of our club and we cannot afford to replace it.

It was going to be used to transport our youth teams to Blackpool football tournament to cut costs. That now cannot happen which will put another cost burden on our parents.

We are hoping we can raise money to put towards a second hand minibus.

If anyone had any information on who did this act of disgraceful vandalism, please let us know. It will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
