Myself, daughter Diane Neish, her friend Lizzie Kenyon Smith and a work colleague of mine Philomena Carrison are going to be running 5k everyday during the month of December. We are trying to raise money for a wonderful lady called Charlotte Del Rio who runs a rescue charity for Spanish Greyhounds or Galgos as they are called in Spain. These dogs are used for hunting and racing, but once they have served their purpose they are either dumped by the roadside to fend for themselves or worse killed.
Charlotte roams the streets looking for these poor souls or people bring them to her and she provides shelter, food and veterinary care but all this comes at a cost. We are looking to raise as much as possible and if even half our friends dontated a pound, a euro or even a dollar this would be amazing.
