Story
I am running 5k everyday during the month of December which equates to 155k or almost 4 marathons. I'm hoping to raise money to help Give a Greyhound a home which is a Greyhound charity located in the north east of Scotland. This charity helps look after and relocate retired or unwanted greyhounds. I did this last year's for the Galgos in Spain and we helped raise €1600. I'm being realistic this year but hopefully you can support me and help Give these wonderful dogs a better life. I have 2 greyhounds from this charity and couldn't wish for better dogs.
Please donate what you can and I will pound the streets no matter what the weather throws at me. Thanks in advance. Craig Bowden.

6 years agoJust a wee post to thank everyone who donated to my 5k a day in December for Give a Greyhound a home. You helped me raise £1030 for GAGAH. I Will be honest and say this was not easy especially due to the weather conditions and of course my age, but I'm glad I did it. Thanks for all the support I received but if you hear me muttering about doing it again next year feel free to bang me on the head.

6 years agoSo I'm currently sitting at £910 which is amazing and I thank you all so much. I only have 5 runs left to do and would love to achieve the incredible amount of £1000. Give a Greyhound a home relys totally on the donations it receives and I know this is really going to help them so much. Once again thank you for putting up with my posts and also for being so generous. Craig.
