Story
On Thursday 1st of December our dear family dog was having his daily walk with my sister and her dog off lead along weaver lane biddestone (as lots of dogs do), when he was struck by a 4x4. My sister looked after him until I got to him and he spent his first night at the hale vets Chippenham. Due to significant injury we had to transfer him To Dursley for further treatment where he survived his 50/50 chance of pulling through anaesthetic as his lungs are so bruised. George had a stable first night but on the 3rd started showing signs of internal damage which we would just love to get fixed. Despite all he is going through he is still wagging his tail when he sees us (on our daily visit) but we are an hour away!

8 years agoGeorge is progressing everyday, yesterday he walked out of his kennel to me. Today he went outside for the first time with his favourite nurse Hannah. He is now tube free and I hope to bring him home on Monday.

8 years agoI can't thank you all enough for your support, generosity and well wishes. After a rocky day on Saturday following the surgery on Friday George has started to show signs of improvement. Many thanks again and I will keep you posted xx

8 years agoThank you all so very very much for the generosity, support, and well wishes for George. After a deterioration on Saturday, he is now slowly starting to show signs of improvement, he has started to eat and be more mobile and the problems he faced on Saturday have stopped! Phew! Will keep you all posted. Once again I can't thank you all enough xx
