During the summer I will be going to Romania to do volunteer work with the charity F.A.S.T Romania through the University of Edinburgh Engineering For Change Society. F.A.S.T is a charity which works to eliminate poverty, deprivation and discrimination, and to promote social integration in Romania. Find out more on their website: http://fastromania.eu/

I am going as part of a team of 4 engineering students and we are aiming to work on several of the charities projects including Better Homes to help improve living conditions, and education projects where we will visit schools and help teach the children basic science principles that they can use in their everyday lives.

I am looking forward to spending part of my summer enhancing the lives of people less fortunate than myself and the challenges of working as part of a team in a new and different culture. Any donations towards our volunteering trip to Romania would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
