    Who are WE ?

We are Cambournians, always ready to HELP.

We are a team of Volunteers to support those residents in our local community of Cambourne and surrounding villages who need extra help during the COVID-19 crisis.

The volunteer group includes members from Cambourne Crescent , Cambourne Church , the Town Council , community groups, local supermarkets and local residents.

Spread the word! Make a difference!

    How can we HELP ?

If you are self-isolating or shielding, we can deliver groceries and prescriptions to your home, or we can call you just for a chat. If you are struggling to afford (enough) food at the moment, we can offer free food parcels.

Whatever your need, contact us and we will try to help you or point you in the right direction for the help you need.

In Cambourne and neighbouring villages we offer the following services:

    1. Food Parcels (free)

    2. Groceries Delivery

    3. Prescription Collections

    4. Phone Calls

    We need YOUR HELP !

Please help those in need, local elderly vulnerable people, people in self-isolation and people concerned with going out by making a small donation.

The volunteers have raised money using JustGiving, this is used to :

    • Buy fresh food items or specific requests for those who can’t afford,

    • Pay for prescriptions and groceries at times where people can afford but are not able to pay online

    • Paying for utility bills

    • Masks, gloves, sanitisers etc for care workers and for volunteers

    • Printing leaflets etc which are dropped by volunteers (so that those who need help have the volunteers contact details)

All transaction details are shared with the steering committee which has members from local community groups and town council.

I asked for help with a grocery delivery which Yvonne Collins kindly delivered but wouldn’t take any money for the shopping so I’ve decided to pass this on to others
