Story
On Saturday 14 October, rallies will be held in each of the 12 European Parliament constituencies across the UK, to send a message to all our political representatives that the time has come to rethink the damaging path that the UK is now on, and say to them that we can and we must stop Brexit. There's more information about this day of regional anti-Brexit action at https://regionalrallies.wordpress.com/
The Cambridge rally, organised by Cambridge Stays, will be held in Market Square, starting at 2pm and finishing at 3.30pm. Confirmed speakers include Daniel Zeichner MP, Cambs and Peterborough mayoral candidate Rod Cantrill, Marcus Johnson of NW Brown Group, Cambridge University economist Dr Victoria Bateman, and EU citizens rights campaigner Laura Om. Weather permitting we'll also be joined by local band Major Rat Run.
We need to raise money to cover the costs of the rally, which include the hire of a marquee (£450) and a stage (£180).
Please donate if you can and come along to the rally to support us. Further information on our Facebook page and at www.cambridgestays.org.uk

Thank you for organising this event. We all need to stand up and be counted. We can change the outcome, but we need to be strong and work hard. Our children and grandchildren deserve a better future.
