    Story

During the summer there has been a spectacular art exhibition around Cambridge which has proved to be extremely popular with anyone viewing it. The exhibition called ‘Cows about Cambridge’ featured 44 large and 46 mini cows at different locations around the city.

One of the most visited Cows was positioned outside Parkside swimming pool and for Cambridge United supporters it became a must see exhibit.

The Cows around Cambridge exhibition has now finished and the Cows are being auctioned.

On the 23rd September, the large cows will take centre stage at an auction to raise money for the charity, Break. The auction will take place at 7pm at the Graduate Hotel and will be hosted by celebrity auctioneer and TV personality Charles Hanson. Charles is famous for his appearances on BBC's Bargain Hunt, Antiques Road Trip and Flog it.

This will be our opportunity to purchase the Cambridge United cow which we are hoping to buy and place at the Abbey Stadium.

Please can you help us to raise the funds by donating to the fundraiser?

If you want to donate more than £20, please contact dave.matthew-jones@cambridge-united.co.uk

If successful in our bid, any money raised above the auction price will be donated to the Break charity and is non-refundable. Equally, if unsuccessful in our bid, all money raised will be donated to the charity. (Donations over £50 will be refunded)
