Weʼre raising £800 to Help the ill-fed and ill-educated of the less developed country of Ecuador, of which 3/4 of the population are malnourished.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Ecuador is the planet's eighth most bio diverse country, and yet finds little help to sustain itself - this is shown by the gruelling statistic that an ungodly 3/4 of the population is malnourished, not to mention the national lack of adequate education.
Therefore, it is only human nature to help such a country in need - and with the help of Camps International, developing schoolchildren are being taken on an expedition to the country, where not only will they provide essential support to the struggling families and ecosystems of Ecuador, but face challenges, accumulate one-in-a-lifetime experiences, and gain skills that will inevitably change their lives.
However, this does come at a price. To reach the end goal of 3980 GBP, many more fundraising programmes will be in play, but JustGiving.com will give regular people the opportunity to contribute and become collectively integral to the long term support of those in such desperate need, and changing the lives of many of the hardworking children in Britain, giving them the leg up they need to fill their boundless potential.
