A policeman in Cusco Peru made it his personal mission to provide an alternative to the correctional facilities many street kids find themselves in. He established the Azul Wasi project, a home for formerly homeless boys and girls. The children go to school, are fed and clothed and taught how to rear animals and grow their own food. Cameron will be staying and working at the home during July 2019, developing the facilities as well as organising games and activities to educate the children. Here in the UK he will also be offering Maths tuition to local children to assist with fund raising.
