    Story

Cannon Bald Run Mk2 is a car meet with a difference, its not a meet its a run from Falkirk Stadium to Abroath. Our last run Glasgow to Glencoe saw over 350 cars attend and we raised nearly £1700 for Parathyroid UK. Cannon Bald Run Mk2 is going to be bigger and better, everyone is welcome and you don't need to be a part of a club to join in, it doesn't matter if you drive a Renault Clio, Lamborghini, work van or even a motorbike its about being with like minded people, driving some of the best roads in Scotland and seeing some amazing vehicles. Its a family friendly event so everyone be at Falkirk Stadium for 9am (leaving at 9:30am).

We couldn't decide between our shortlisted 6 charities and it didn't seem right to exclude any as they all are for amazing causes. The one rule to be an eligible charity is that you have to be a small non profit so the money we raise has a maximum impact.

    We have chosen:

CDKL5 UK, Scottish Autism, Tiny Changes, Clan Cancer support, Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity & Sands for Stillborn's.

CDKL5 UK is a charity run by parents caring for a child with CDKL5 deficiency disorder. We fully understand the daily challenges faced living with this condition and recognise that it can feel isolating looking after a child with a disability, but you are not alone. Our aim is to create a community across the UK and beyond to offer support and advice

Scottish Autism is an organisation dedicated to enabling autistic people to lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

Tiny Changes, Losing someone you love to suicide is one of the hardest things that can happen to a family. The fallout is indescribable and the sense of loss lives with you forever. Yet, strangely, amidst the emotional turmoil of the days and weeks following Scott’s death, we had an overriding feeling that something had to be done. We wanted to ensure that people no longer saw this as the only answer, or, better still, that there should be support in place to help with mental health challenges in the first place.

Clan Cancer Support is a well-established local charity providing emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer across north-east Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland. We offer a relaxed, welcoming and caring environment both at Clan House, our purpose-built support and wellbeing centre in Aberdeen, and at our many bases in the community.

Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity, We fundraise to ensure that every baby, child and young person treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital receives the extra special care they deserve.

Sands is the leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity in the UK. Sands exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to ensure that anyone affected by the death of a baby receives the best possible care and support for as long as they need it.
