Our son, Oliver, was born premature at 27 weeks. After getting NEC, a bowel infection, he spent 4 and a half months in hospital in intensive care, on the neo natal ward and the children's ward at LGI in Leeds. I am going to walk from Liverpool to Hull in February half term. I aim to do this 126 mile journey in 4 days. I am doing this in order to purchase equipment for the ward which will make other family's stay in hospital easier. We are looking to buy toys, computer games and dvd players for patients and siblings to.use during their time at hospital.
