Welcome to my Tanzania fund raising group, I'm Josh (Carl/Pies) eldest son and I've created this group to aid me raise funds towards my 2018 trip to Tanzania where i will be helping the local communities by improving their resources and way of life.

Things will be moving quickly as the Tanzania trip is rapidly approaching an as part of final preparations and fundraising josh will be taking part in the following challenge-on April 14th (josh's birthday) We will be visiting the summit of 10 of the Lake District's mountains in one day - climbing a total of about 2,500 metres (8,000 feet) and walking a total of over 26km (16 miles) in the process!

Buttermere to Langdale (or Buttermere to Borrowdale). This challenge involves climbing 10 of the best mountains in the Lake District, including THE highest Scafell Pike.

we will cover some of the most rugged and dramatic terrain you are likely to experience in the whole of Great Britain. If the weather is kind you will also experience the best views available in the whole of the Lake District, some would say in the UK!

This is a great challenge and i believe it's as tough as, if not tougher than the 3 peaks challenge. friends that have completed both the Lake's 10 peaks challenge and the 3 peaks challenge with us and all have preferred the ten peaks challenge with most saying it's more enjoyable, even though it is a little tougher.
