Get Summer her dream. Get Summer to Ibiza...
Summer was born in 1998 as a surviving twin 25week delivery. When she was a day old, she suffered a bleed on her brain leaving her with severe learning difficulties. Doctors said at the time that Summer would never walk, never talk and never feed herself and she would be fully dependant on support for the rest of her life. Over the years she has gone on to defy the odds that were given to her and can talk, walk and also feed herself.  Summer has severe learning difficulties and has grown up not to have those things children grow up with like playing with dolls and riding bikes, not going round to see friends and going through those stages that most girls go through experimenting with makeup and having her hair done etc.  Since Summer was around 11 years old, the only interest she has ever had is to listen to the radio more or less 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Her favourite radio stations being BBC Radio 1 and Radio 1 xtra. She has become what we would say is a musical genius (lol) she only has to hear the first couple of notes of a song and she can instantly tell you the name of the song and also the singer/artist. She can also name all the presenters at any time of the day that Radio 1 have on their show.
for the past 4/5 years Summer has begged to be taken to the Radio 1 Ibiza weekend and every year we have told her she has to wait until she is 18 and we would look at trying to get her there. On the 4th of December Summer reached a major milestone in her life... Her 18th Birthday. Looking back It was one of the proudest days of my life knowing what she has been through to get to 18.  The day she turned 18 there was only one thing on her mind and that was going to Radio 1 Ibiza weekend. We would love for her to get her dream but due to unforeseen circumstances affording this is impossible right now. I don't even know where to start. How to find out where it will be, when it will be how to get there etc. So if anyone out
