My Beautiful Mummy was diagnosed with Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) in July 2015 when we found out it was already at stages that were out of control (inoperable) and had metastasized to the brain (spread) After many visits to the GP and him failing to make the correct diagnosis or at least send her for investigation. It was only when myself (as a qualified Nurse) decided that enough was enough and took her straight to A&E. there is a new wonder drug called Nimoluvab, that isn't readily available in England or Wales but is available in Scotland (for some reason) Mum was on a trial for this drug , but due to them (health professionals) not being able to get a biopsy containing enough cancer cells she was thrown off the trail and told she has been reused this new wonder drug!!!! As mentioned this drug is available to people in Scotland but not for anyone else in the UK, how do these people decided who can have what and technically play god!

I am trying to raise as much as I can to hopefully, if all else fails put towards funding this drug, my mum is 52 still has a lot of her life ahead of her, and with this drug can add years onto her life, at the moment the prognosis is poor! she doesn't want to leave her daughter and her only grandchild and she shouldn't have to, if she had access to this new drug then maybe she would have her chance to live more of her life that she loves so dearly.
