In April 2017, the lives of one family began to fall apart. The mother at just 38 years of age had suffered a major stroke after a serious wound to the neck in an alleged attack. The Doctors reported a grim long term outcome of never walking or talking again the children and relatives were in turmoil.

However no one in the hospital team or even the closest family members were prepared for the determination and fight they saw over the next 5 months. This mother was determined to learn to walk, talk and live with her youngest children again.

Today, she only has full mobility in one side of her body and strives to communicate via an IPAD, yet she remains cheerful. She has to, she has a six year old and three older children, they now look forward to mum coming out of hospital and moving into a house and to rehabilitation. and in the future she hopes to return to work and live a normal life to the best of her ability.

This family needs additional financial support to live together, have fun togther again and to rebuild their lives any additional support you can give, would help this family to remain united and positive and give them a chance to survive the horrors of the last five months .

This family is not named to protect all involved as there is an ongoing investigation into how this happened.
