After a great many set backs I've finally got around to planning my first solo show but alas it's going to cost money that I don't have. In order that I can continue to eat I would really appreciate your help. The art council have told me that if I can get funding this way ironically they are more likely to want to invest in me.

I know there are much more worthwhile causes in this world than my art career, so I've decided that 10 per cent of any sales I make will go to Southhall Black Sisters to support survivors of domestic violence who have no recourse to public funds. This is to support women who have no other means to get into refuge, which should be a basic human right for every woman regardless of race.

I am grateful for anything you are able to donate, no matter how small. For those of you who are able to give £30 or over your get a piece of my art work for free. You can keep this for when I'm famous!
