Story
I am raising money for my own grandson Theo. Theo is 4 years old and has a very rare genetic neurological disorder called KIF1a this robs children of their full ability to walk, talk and see. Just over 100 worldwide are known to have KIF1a. There is no treatment or cure. Yet.
Theo would like a bike but to have all the safety features it needs to be specialised for him and will cost approx. £1600.
Here comes my ask please can any small business or large donate a gift of their services or perhaps something they make so we can auction to raise money to buy this bike for him.
Thank you so much for reading

6 years agoToday my grandson Theo had a visit from Tomcat who specialise in disability bikes. Theo was accessed and fitted for a bike which has now been estimated to cost £1600 with all the adaptions that Theo will need. Unfortunately this is double of what we first anticipated. Here is a picture of Theo trying out one of there bikes.
