The family are still in Bulgaria. Today I sent them the last of the money, they have a long journey ahead. My house is still on offer to them however they need to be close to other people from Ukraine. A huge thank you and well done for the funds raised so far. The family are settled, they have very little but with this money, we have bought wood for the fire, food, electric blankets, folding beds, paid electricity, installed Wi-Fi and so on. The people in the village have been amazing offering friendship and support. A positive moment to share, little Vladik his shoes were leaking and it is snowing, a neighbour sorted out new socks, shoes and slippers, it really is the little things. Now we need longer-term funds for food and electricity.
