Weʼre raising £500 to help fund an art exhibition on the theme of Plastics in the Oceans.

North Sea Observatory, Chapel St Leonards, Lincolnshire

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Would you like to help raise awareness about the need for each one of us to help solve the problem of plastic in the oceans and all the suffering this causes to the marine environment? You can help, by supporting this crucial one-off free to enter art exhibition which is to be held in August 2019 at the North Sea Observatory in Lincolnshire.

Currently we are seeking funding. We have artists from across the country bringing stunning and inspirational artworks of all kinds - all designed to help us understand that we need to individually take action to reduce the amount of discarded and polluting plastic. We must stop this 'Flow of Mermaid's Tears' from reaching the sea (mermaid's tears is the name given to the ever increasing minute pellets of plastic as it is broken down by the action of sea water).

We all care but we all feel powerless to stop this from happening. We can all do something and this interactive exhibition and associated beach events is designed to help us to focus on what we can do. We need donations though to meet the costs of booking, insurance, travel and other expenses. Can you help please, any small donations will be most gratefully received?
