I am going out to France to volunteer with Care4Calais for 9 days starting Boxing Day. I may be in the Calais warehouse, the Dunkirk camp or the unofficial camps in Paris - It's all a bit day-to-day where the need is greatest.

I am hoping my generous friends can help support me with the costs of transport out there [edit now mostly paid for by tesco vouchers] and to buy a car load of necessities from the list of items wanted by the camp/ items for refugees on the ground as asked for by the aid agency. Local (Cambridge) gifts from the following list also welcome:

Nappies size 5 & 6
Baby wipes
small tents
sleeping bags
warm packs (3x socks, hat, gloves, scarf)
