Weʼve raised £60 to donate to CESRT to enable them to buy desperately needed warm winter clothes for refugee children on the Greek island of Chios.

    Story

In 2017 I volunteered in a refugee camp on the Greek island of Chios with with an organisation called CESRT - Chios Eastern Shore Response Team - who provide emergency aid and support to the refugee population held on the island. With the onset of winter, over 1000 children are currently living in apalling conditions in a dreadfully overcrowded camp with inadequate shelter, food and clothing. CESRT, which is run by one incredible local Greek lady, now desperately need warm winter clothing for the children - in particular socks, warm jogging suits and underwear. If you can help out at all, please do - every £1 helps! Many (hopeful) thanks.
